The company behind your home's record.

Asset History Report is the homeowner side of Harmelo, a building intelligence platform. The contractors, inspectors and builders who work on homes use Harmelo to file their work, and that work lands on your record.

A note from the founder

Why I started this.

I spent years around the mechanical systems inside homes and buildings, and I saw the same problems again and again. People spend thousands of dollars on furnaces, heat pumps and water heaters. But when something goes wrong, nobody knows the history of the system. Was it installed properly? Was it maintained? Was the warranty ever registered?

I have seen homeowners move into a house and replace a furnace months later because there was no record of the work done on it. What should be a planned expense turns into a stressful and expensive surprise.

Asset History Report is the homeowner's answer to that problem: a continuing record of the systems inside your home that stays with the house.

What Harmelo is

One record for each piece of equipment, kept by everyone who works on it.

Every system on a record gets its own identifier, so its history stays attached to the equipment as contractors change, software changes and the home changes hands.

For you

A clear view of what is in your home, what has been done to it and what is coming, with fewer costly surprises.

For your contractors

Signed, dated credit for the work they do, and the history they need before the next visit.

For the next owner

A home with a real record instead of a drawer of receipts.

Why a homeowner product

Homeowners come first.

Most software built around buildings serves institutions: property managers, portfolio operators, public owners. Harmelo serves them too. Asset History Report exists so the person who lives in the home has the same record, priced for one home and designed for one person.

The record is yours to control. You decide who reads it and who writes to it, and you can send it to the next owner when you sell. Your account details stay yours, and before you send the record you review each document that goes with it.
